Peter Wood

Chiropractor

Chiropractor

Abbie graduated with a Master’s degree from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with the Academic Excellence Award in 2021 and has furthered her training to include Dry Needling, Kinesiology Taping and has completed her post-graduate training in Animal Chiropractic.

She is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, British Chiropractic Association and is a Member of the Royal College of Chiropractors.

Abbie has always been passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare. Whilst working on reception at the clinic, she saw the daily effect that Chiropractic Care can have on improving patients quality of life and injury recovery, leading her to join the profession, return to provide care, and later take over the clinic. Abbie values that Chiropractic allows her to treat each patient as an individual and tailor care to their personal goals.

Outside of work, Abbie understands the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and keeps herself active with hockey, rock climbing, hiking and horse riding. She also enjoys travelling and spending time with her dogs and her horse.

Peter graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a Master’s degree attaining a Distinction. Peter is registered with both the General Chiropractic Council and British Chiropractic Association.

He was first exposed to the world of Chiropractic at a young age after accompanying his mother to see her Chiropractor. Although too young at the time to appreciate the importance of that day, seeing the positive effect it had on her planted a seed which has led Peter to grow into a Chiropractor himself.

Peter is committed to updating his clinical knowledge by attending regular post-graduate training, and has trained in medical dry needling and kinseology taping.

When not at work, Peter is an avid cinema fan, who enjoys baking, cars, wildlife photography and getting into the great outdoors.

He enjoys contributing his skill and efforts to the team here at Alo Chiropractic and most importantly, to all the wonderful people he meets and has the privilege of caring for, helping restore them back to their maximum health potential.
